Yes! THIS IS the most uncomfortable question I keep asking myself and others is this: do you actually want to go up? or do you just want it to stop being so scared? Because those are two completely different vectors of movement. One is a path, the other is anesthesia. One path leads to transformation. The other is toward adaptation to pain.

We, women know how to suffer beautifully. We know how to turn pain into virtue, waiting into moral superiority, endurance into a spiritual path. We convince ourselves that patience is maturity, that waiting is wisdom, that silence is depth, that not moving is consciousness.
