LET IT GO
Some things in our lives need healing. Some need changing. And some need to be allowed to end.
There are relationships, identities, roles, hopes, dreams, patterns, and versions of ourselves that have already completed their life, yet we continue giving them energy. We keep waiting. Explaining. Repairing. Hoping. Negotiating. Trying one more time. Trying to bring back what no longer has life in it.
This retreat is for the moment when you are ready to stop asking, “How do I fix this?” and begin asking a different question: What in my life has already ended, but I am still keeping alive?
Let It Go is a three-night, small-group immersion devoted to endings, symbolic death, grief, bodily release, and the empty space that follows. The work is inspired by the seasonal movement into the darker half of the year, a time when nature itself stops producing, sheds what is complete, and returns what is finished to the earth.
This is not a weekend of forced positivity, instant forgiveness, or turning every difficult feeling into a spiritual lesson. There will be room for grief, anger, disappointment, exhaustion, desire, silence, uncertainty, and the parts of ourselves we often try to make more acceptable before allowing them to speak.
We will work through several layers: honest reflection, shadow work, Sacred Dance, ceremonial wrapping, a women’s mourning circle, a long Banya Mystery, and a symbolic night burial in the forest.
The Journey
Friday is about seeing clearly. We will begin by looking at what has already completed its time. What are you still feeding? What are you still waiting for? What truth do you already know, but continue negotiating with? Through shadow work and Sacred Dance, we will move beyond explanation and allow the body to express what has been silenced, controlled, postponed, or held together for too long.
Saturday morning is devoted to mourning and symbolic "death". Ceremonial Wrapping is an experience of surrender and symbolic death, a chance to stop holding, controlling, fixing, and carrying, and to feel what happens when you allow something within you to truly come to an end while being held and witnessed by the women’s circle.
Saturday afternoon moves into the banya. Heat, steam, veniks, herbs, water, scrubs, touch, breath, silence, and temperature contrast become part of the larger process of release. The banya is not an extra wellness activity added to the weekend. It is one of the central containers of the work.
Saturday night ends with a symbolic burial/burning ritual. What has been seen, mourned, and moved through the body is given a clear point of completion. The intention is simple: to stop giving life force to what has already ended.
And then we do something many personal-growth spaces rush past. We do not immediately create the “new you.” No vision board, no pressure to know what comes next, no demand to turn the ending into a new plan before the grief has settled. There is value in the empty space.
On Sunday morning, we close with a different question: what am I no longer willing to resurrect?
