Which wolf you feed with your attention

There is an old parable about two wolves.  One carries fear, resentment, dependence, the hunger for revenge, and the hope that justice will arrive on its own.  The other holds clarity, strength, responsibility, inner authority, and the right to choose.  The one that wins is always the one you feed.

Imbolc is not a holiday. It is a point of power. A moment when it becomes unmistakably clear where your attention goes, and therefore where your energy flows. Imbolc is not only about hope. It is about honesty. These days whatever didn't die, but must die - WILL die. or it will grow into the poison in your life. This time is about seeing which inner force you are nourishing with your focus.

Stop waiting for the boomerang. It’s not coming

I see this pattern over and over again. In me also.... You sit on the mental riverbank, sometimes in a lotus pose, sometimes simply frozen in waiting. You stare at the water, expecting the moment when your "enemy" finally suffers, collapses, or is punished by fate. At the very least, you hope for some visible crack in their "success" aka "happy life", some sign that justice has caught up.  You whisper to yourself that everything is seen, that karma is patient, that sooner or later it will all come back around. Here is the forecast: it won’t.

While you sit there feeding mosquitoes with your thoughts, your "enemy" floats past you... calm, well-fed, extremely happy and successful. They move on with their life, vacationing in Hawaii or Maldives, their business works, their desires are fulfilled, and they don’t even remember your name... or the fact that you even exist. They are so busy with their happy life! 

And this is what hurts the most. Right? 

The universe is not a criminal code

The universe does not operate as a moral court.  It is not a strict authority handing out punishments for bad behavior and rewards for good intentions. It is an ecosystem. Alive, ruthless, and functional. From the system’s perspective, the predator is not a mistake. The abuser, manipulator, or exploiter fulfills their role perfectly. They create pressure. They provoke growth. They accelerate evolution. Nature does not punish the wolf for eating the sheep!!! It is actually the other way around! It rewards the wolf! It feeds the wolf... as long as the sheep agrees to remain prey. 

You are the one funding their feast

This is the most uncomfortable part. As long as you check their social media, replay conversations, discuss them endlessly, imagine their downfall, or wait for karmic justice, you maintain an energetic connection. You stretch a thick cable of attention straight toward them. Attention is energy. Energy is currency. They are not being punished, they are receiving cashback from your fixation! Your emotional investment fuels their momentum, while you are left depleted, exhausted, and stuck in that hallway forgotten and in hope. 

There is no justice! There is maturity!

In the world of power, the winner is not the one who is morally right. The winner is the one who has capacity, audacity, and the inner permission to take responsibility for their life. One person lives by the rule: “I want and I take.” The other lives by the rule: “I will endure and someday I will be rewarded.” The universe processes clear demands faster than silent suffering. 

This is a new era, this is a new cycle. Today is a full moon, today  is a Groundhog Day! Today is Imbolc... This season strips away illusions. It shows you clearly which wolf you are feeding. Hence the movie about Groundhog, when you are awake already and see clearly.... which wolf is being fed.... The wolf of resentment? The wolf of waiting? The wolf that dreams of revenge and external punishment? Or the wolf that wakes up, reclaims its energy, withdraws attention, and chooses sovereignty. 

Imbolc is the moment when you stop expecting balance to be restored by someone else and ask yourself one honest question: where does my power go, and why? 

There are only two paths. You can stay on the riverbank, waiting for justice, slowly turning your life into a reaction to someone else’s success. Or you can admit: “Yes, I was consumed because I gave myself without boundaries. The lesson is learned.” You take your energy back. You take your attention back. You grow teeth and claws. It is about the inner fire that no longer leaks outward.

The wolf you feed now is the one that will walk with you into spring... and will finish the year accordingly. It is the prediction! I now know how clearvoyant people "see". I always knew about the energy, and if you know what wolf a person is feeding, they become very predictable! Their life becomes predictable. The life becomes like in a movie Groundhog Day - same thing.... day after day... over and over again...
